Remedies for Anal itching

Avoid Food Allergens
During a bowel movement, certain food can lead to irritation, causing anal itching. Plus, there are also certain foods, which can increase inflammation and itchiness.

Thus, choose foods wisely. Coffee, tea, chocolate, soda, and alcoholic beverages are some of the foods, which can increase rectal itching. Avoid citrus fruits such as lemons, grapes, and oranges and spicy foods such as peppers and jalapenos. It is advised to stay away from these foods for a minimum of two weeks and later reintroduce them into your regular diet gradually.


Apple Cider Vinegar Remedy
Apple cider vinegar can control yeast and fungal infections causing anal itching. Along with that, it helps to alkalize the body.

For this remedy, you can mix raw, unfiltered ACV (2 teaspoons) in 1 glass of water. Then, consume it two times every day.

You can also add ACV (1 cup) to a hot bath. Then, soak in this resultant bathwater for around 15-20 minutes.
Follow these instructions once each day. You should repeat these remedies for a couple of days until irritation and anal itching subside.


Garlic For Anal Itching
Garlic can aid in treating anal itching effectively. Particularly, it can fight off intestinal worms causing anal itching.
Moreover, its antibacterial, antiseptic and antifungal properties help to deal with any kind of infection contributing to anal itching.

For this treatment, you take 2 crushed garlic cloves and boil them in a half cup of milk. Then, consume this concoction on an empty stomach for around a week.
You can also simply eat 2-3 raw garlic cloves on an empty stomach every day for about a week.


Use Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is used widely in many skin care products. Besides, this plant contains soothing and calming agents, which alleviate anal itching, inflammation and soreness. Moreover, it can decrease the irritation of haemorrhoids causing anal itching.
Things you need:
A fresh aloe vera leaf

Process:
Take the aloe vera leaf and cut it open. Then, extract its gel and start rubbing in around and in the anus for five minutes. You should reapply this gel every few hours to remove the soreness and itching.


Oatmeal Remedy
Oatmeal can be used to combat any itchy anus. It's is useful for healing irritated, itchy and inflamed skin because it comes with anti-irritating, soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.

Things you need:
Unprocessed oat flour or colloidal oatmeal – 1 to 2 cups
Lukewarm water

Process:
Fill a bathtub with lukewarm water and mix the unprocessed oat flour or colloidal oatmeal in this bathtub. Thereafter, soak in this resultant water for around 15-20 minutes. It’s advisable to take an oatmeal bath once or twice daily.


Use Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has the ability to soothe the skin. Being loaded with antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal properties, coconut oil can battle any infection contributing to anal itching. Apart from that, it helps to expel intestinal worms.

For this purpose, take 2-3 tbsp of extra-virgin coconut oil and consume it every day. You can use coconut oil for cooking.
Alternatively, take some coconut oil and rub it around and in the affected area a couple of times daily to eliminate itching and burning sensations.


Petroleum Jelly For Anal Itching
Petroleum jelly can relieve anal itching effectively. It’ll form a lubricating layer in the anal area, which lowers the irritation and friction. Furthermore, it relieves the burning sensation caused due to anal itching.

For this remedy, take some petroleum jelly and apply it to your affected area two times daily. This will give you fast relief from anal itching.
